While my roommates are away...

...I sing really, really loud to my favorite songs. My current selection involves a lot of Kelly Clarkson and Celine Dion with a few Leona Lewis mixed in. I should add some Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston to the mix. These women are really powerful singers. If I could have the vocal range and power like them I would be so ecstatic. I'm working on it though. Also, I would just like to say that if I could ever learn how to sing soul like a true southern baptist black woman my life would be complete. It takes a certain vocal quality to sing really good soul/jazz and I haven't quite figured how to get out of the pop and classical vocal styles.

I don't think my roommates have ever heard me sing in my full voice. Maybe Wallis has. I don't want to be a nuisance so I generally keep the singing noise level to a minimum. But oh how I love the thrill of singing at the top of my lungs.
