Highlights from the UK...London

This is long overdue. I went to the UK this summer with the fam and I have yet to post anything about the trip either here or on facebook. So I embark on a number of new posts about we were able to experience while we were there.





The London Eye: If I am completely honest the London Eye is cool and all but it's not worth the amount of money you have to pay to ride on it. If you ever have the opportunity to ride on the London Eye my advice would be to go at sunset or at night. During the day would be okay as long as it is really clear and sunny. We went on a day when it was really cloudy and gray making the view not so ideal.

Madame Tussauds: WAY FUN! This was a highly enjoyable experience. If you ever go you need to be prepared for a HUGE mass of people. We got to see people like Christina Aguilera, Barack Obama, Ghandi, Einstein, Tiger Woods, Beckham, The Queen, etc. Some of the figurines were amazingly life like but some looked nothing like the person they were supposed to be. For instance, Tom Cruise was really life like but Beyonce didn't really look anything like her. It is definitely worth a visit and even if you can't make it to the one in London there is one in Las Vegas and New York and Paris.
