Christmas break is one of the best times of the year. I love being with family and friends and feeling the magic that is always around during this time. I love having two weeks of celebrating the birth of our savior Jesus Christ and I love having two weeks of Christmas related sacrament meetings.
Reasons this Christmas has been so great:
1. Reuniting with the ward family. It always feels like a party every time my sister and I come back to Nashville. Everyone asks how we've been and what we've been up to. Our ward is definitely an extension of my family. We made christmas ornaments and christmas soap the first day we were back in town where I realized that my creative skills have gone down the tubes since I've been at BYU :(
2. Visiting with family. We went to Ohio for a few days. Left Thursday came back saturday. My dad's side of the family is great and they also make life very interesting. We got to see my cousins kids who are so cute! We didn't get to see everyone but we had a blast with those that we did. I really do think that being with family is really what christmas is all about.
3. To finish off the list, though there is so much more that I could put. I saw Sherlock Holmes Christmas night with my dad, uncle, and sister and it was SO COOL! Words can't really describe the awesomeness that is this movie.
I hope everyone has had as good as a Christmas time as i have.
