So I finally fell prey to the flu. everyone had told me what it was like but I think you don't really understand what it's like until you actually have it. It is a miserable existence the flu but as of right now I would like to apologize to the entire campus of BYU, most especially those people that I have had direct contact with. i am so sorry if you catch the flu because of me.
Other than the flu here are a few tidbits of life:
-Lucy (my dog) apparently has a myriad of health issues. Cancer being the most concerning of them along with heart problems and high blood pressure. I remember when we first got her. We have Liz to thank for that. Our friends dog's just had their first litter and Liz begged and begged and Dad finally said that we could get a dog. That was about 5 or 6 years ago. I hope that the surgery and whatever meds she is now on will help her feel better. Life would be very different without her.
- My house will probably not be the same when I go back for Christmas. My parents are gearing up for a major remodel of our house. I'm actually really excited about this. I love DIY projects and I love redoing things in our house. Since we moved in almost 10 years ago our house has undergone a lot of change. We've laid down wood floor in about half of our house, painted every room a new color (some more than once), retiled a shower, converted a formal dining room to a bedroom, and a few other things here and there. Fun times, now my parents want to redo the windows and fix the foundations and completely redo the bathrooms. I'm stoked!!
One last thing before I go to class... I turn 21 in TWO weeks!!! The countdown commences!!!!!
